Boring and Honing
The workshop handles a wide range of bore finishing work, with the ability to provide precision sizing and the surface finish required. Boring of material up to 525mm ID and a length of 4.1M is possible (dependant on ID / Length ratios). Horizontal precision honing of material with an ID ranging from 50mm up to 609mm to a length of 7M depending on the bore diameter.
Machining
Ozram can cater for your machining needs with the following equipment:
- CNC turning and milling machine (Mazak Nexus 350NC)
- A full compliment of long and short bed lathes
- Two purpose built boring machines
- Milling and drilling machines
Welding
Welding requirements are catered for with the following equipment:
- Heavy build up in automatic submerged arc welder
- Semi-automated rotary welding unit
- Standard mig and stick welding
